Today I am offering a lighter blog article. I will talk briefly about the Robineau’s that have achieved a small or large amount of notoriety or fame.

No genealogical research has been done to show that Michel Robineau dit Desmoulins was related to any of these people.

| Maurice “Bud” Robineau | 1901 – 1966 | Founder of the Frontier Refining Company. He was born in Onondega, New York in 1901 and died in 1966 in Denver Colorado.
He is the son of Adelaide Alsop Robineau. |
| Andre Simon Robineau | 1950 | Former French Consulate Secretary in Poland, pleaded guilty to charges of espionage against Poland in 1950. Robineau’s plea could have resulted in a death sentence but he received a twelve year prison sentence. |
